Research

Understanding complex responses of the terrestrial biosphere to rising atmospheric CO2, climate change, & land-use change across temporal & spatial scales through application of satellite observations, field network data, & ecosystem process models

Teaching

Currently designing a course on Ecological Climatology, an interdisciplinary framework that combines aspects of ecology and climatology to improve understanding of how natural- and human-driven changes in vegetation affect the climate system.
