Strategic Planning

The School of Natural Resources and the Environment creates the knowledge and develops the scientific workforce needed to conserve and improve the condition of our natural resources for future generations.

To that end, it conducts strategic planning, with a vision that the school will be the University of Arizona’s center-of-excellence for research, higher education, and training. It envisions doing extension and outreach to conserve and manage natural resources and to advance knowledge in public policy, planning, and the human dimensions of natural resource management.
