Research

We investigate basic ecological questions that can be applied to real-world problems in the conservation of biodiversity and facilitate informed decision making. We focus on endangered & threatened species or ecosystems undergoing rapid change.

Teaching

Recent courses that I have taught focus on ecology, conservation and management of mammals, conservation behavior, and challenges of management in montane archipelagoes such as the ?sky islands? of the southwest US and northern Mexico.
