My research integrates disciplines of ecology, soil science, hydrology, & geomorphology to gain new insights for sustainable use and management of natural resources under increasing pressure from climate variability & land use intensification.
My courses focus on environmental science, natural resource management, and global change. I use a multi-faceted teaching approach incorporating multimedia technology, hands-on demonstrations, one-on-one interactions, and field-oriented exercises.
