Research

I am an Assistant Rangeland Management Specialist for Cooperative Extension with a focus on Plant-Herbivore Interactions and Targeted Grazing. My research interests are directly concerned with understanding issues and trying to find solutions for livestock producers raising animals on rangelands in a sustainable way through among other things, the use of virtual fence technology, the study of plant-herbivore interactions and use of targeted grazing to manage toxic and invasive plants; as well as wildland fuel reduction to prevent or minimize the intensity of wildfires.
